Prof. Dr. Sad Bexheti was born on 01-11-1957 in Lisec, Tetovo. He finished his elementary school in Reçica in Tetovo during the period 1964-1972. High school has finished in Tetovo during the period 1972-1976, while during the period 1976-1981 has graduated at the Medical Faculty in Prishtina.

- The Mayor represents the municipality. The Mayor carries out his duties by the framework defined by law and by the following Statute. The Mayor fulfills his tasks professionally.

- The Mayor has the right to be present and participate in the sessions of the Council, and if needed in the sessions of commissions of the Council without the right of decision.

- The Mayor has an obligation to take part in sessions of the Council in the interpolation day of the Counselors, who answers them orally or in writing form.

- The Mayor appoints his representatives to be present at the sessions of Council and commission meetings.

- The Mayor, with the self-initiative of the Council, notifies the Council for the realization of certain tasks provided by his competences.

- The Mayor declares the provisions of the Council in the Official Gazette of the Municipality of Tetovo.

- The Mayor ensures the implementation of decisions of the Council.

- The Mayor implements the procedure for declaring a public competition and appoints the director of public services and municipal institutions, in accordance with law.
