Certificate for successful implementation of the ISO 9001:2008 standard
The spokesman of the municipality of Tetova Flakran Pustina held a conference with the journalists through which have made known the successful implementation of the of ISO 9001:2008 standard by municipality of Tetova.
“The municipality of Tetova ranks among the four municipalities in Macedonia that have earned a certificate for successful implementation of the ISO 9001:2008 standard. This certificate is given for implementation of services that are in power of self government. Through this certificate, the municipality of Tetova was estimated for establishing sustainable systems for governance that meets the requirements of the standard”, said Pustina.
According to him, the process of implementation of ISO standards has passed through several stages, which means the administration training and testing. Certificate for this standard is given by the Slovene Institute for Quality (SIQ).
The spokesman of the municipality of Tetova, Flakran Pustina stated that through ISO 9001:2008 standard the municipality meets the standard for the qualitative political governance that opens a vision for a multiethnic, open, efficient, transparent and constructive municipality. Furthermore, through ISO 9001:2008 standard the municipality creates benefits for captivating international funds especially for the IPA funds.
The training and the realization of receipt of the standard is financed by UNDP in the framework of the project “Fight against corruption for good governance”.
Through ISO 9001:2008 standard is implemented the model of standardization of the practices and the procedures of the municipality, aimed at consolidation of municipal administration to provide efficient services for citizens.
Getting the certificate for successful implementation of ISO standard it is a proof of a permanent and responsible commitment to work within of these eight months of the municipality governance.
