The Municipality of Tetova was awarded with ISO 9001:2008 Certificate for Quality Management System
On Wednesday, the representative of UNDP in Macedonia, Deidre Boyd, officially has awarded the mayor of the municipality of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Sadi Bexheti, the certificate for Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008. Through this event the municipality of Tetova has round off the work of the several months for establishment of this mechanism that is in function of process standardization in the municipality and as well as quality service delivery to citizens. Furthermore, the establishment of this system is an opportunity of collaboration with the European public administrations.
“In collaboration with UNDP, the municipality of Tetova, have committed themselves to promoting higher standards in provision of local service through establishment of a quality management in the municipal administration”, said Bexheti.According to Bexheti, with the establishment of this instrument, the municipality of Tetova will gain new quality in the daily work with citizens as well as in wide-ranging development. “We do believe that this system will open another stage of development and progress for citizens in Tetova”, he said.
