The remark of this day reminds us the historic turn, victory of democracy and pluralism that gave the municipality of Tetova other development rates and consolidation in the spirit of the overall values of democratic politics.

We are gathered today to mark this day, as a strong base on the road to local democracy as a general value towards political freedoms for all citizens of Tetova.

In the spirit of this turn that includes our goal for a democratic and for wider participation of citizens in the municipal decision making; we have designed our democratic vision of Tetova, based on inclusion as political and ethnic decent.

This vision is already materialized with the establishment of modern system of governance and projects which guarantee equal treatment for all ethnic communities in the municipality of Tetova and all political orientations.

Within these eleven months of our government we are trying with all forces to establish the quality system in solving problems, by continuously cultivated dialogue, tolerance and professionalism in our work.

In the line of this definition, the municipality of Tetova has expanded the capacity of governance through more training by the European institutions, which has enabled all the municipal services to be open for citizens.

We remain steadfast in our goal to be open to citizens, to all the problems that they face. This orientation is evidenced with the numerous cooperation’s that we have realized towards the establishment of European standards on the functioning of the municipality.

We believe that this orientation based on responsible work creates real opportunities for economic development, clean environment, educational progress, cultural and social welfare.

We pledge that in the coming months will commit to work for the citizens benefit, in creating conditions for the welfare and to provide more quality services, constantly tending to preserve and stimulate even more ethnic and political dialogue.

All the projects implemented so far are the fruit of this orientation, so we will commit to continue in the future with the peace of cooperation and responsibility.

Local Democracy remains the best form of citizen’s participation and the realization of their rights. Remark of this day serves us to reconfirm our orientation in the service of citizens.

Let me congratulate the municipality day March 3rd , with the best wishes for progress, justice, dialog and tolerance in our common path towards comprehensive development of Tetova.
