Several dimensions of urban development of Tetovo were presented
On Thursday in the municipality of Tetovo was held a public presentation for strategic urban development of city of Tetovo. During this presentation was present the chairman of the assembly of ADP Arber Xhaferi that at the same time was adviser of the project, professors from the architecture from University of Prishtina and Tirana and other architects.
Presentation was named as a result of the fruitful cooperation between municipality of Tetovo and University for architecture and urban development “Polis” and the Institute “Coplan”.
The mayor of the municipality of Tetovo, Prof. Dr. Sadi Bexheti said that he was happy to bring up some ideas for the urban development of city of Tetovo in the coming decades.
“In this very important study of urban development of the city I hope that each one of you will contribute to build a city as we dream it – a modern city, conducted by intent to build a city that meets the needs of the present and future opportunities”, said Bexheti. Presentation was named as a result of the fruitful cooperation between municipality of Tetovo and University for architecture and urban development “Polis” and the Institute “Coplan”.
The mayor of the municipality of Tetovo, Prof. Dr. Sadi Bexheti said that he was happy to bring up some ideas for the urban development of city of Tetovo in the coming decades.
According to him the urban development today cannot be understood as simple objective, but as a priority.
This notion is the only option available to combat the economic destruction and reduce social and economic inequality.
Distinguished students from the University for urban development “Polis” from Tirana in visual way presented some dimensions of the future urban development of Tetovo and they emphasized that this is a great work that is expected to be reached in the future. So, this is only the beginning of drafting an urban development plan for Tetovo. The presentations sparked curiosity and were followed with a fruitful debate.
Municipality of Tetovo is the first municipality in Macedonia that carried the study that aims to achieve quality product that will improve community livelihoods and will secure basis for future development.
