“With the recent budget rebalancing, instead to increase the resources for the schools, unfortunately they were reduced. Therefore, the incomes for the high schools are decreased for 6 million denars” said Halimi.



According to him, the particular problem exists in the new school in Drenovec, which even that is ready since Septmeber the 1st 2009 still is not operating for lack of inventory and 29 employees for which the Government should provide funds.

“To solve this problem as soon as possible I appeal to the Governmt urgently to oblige the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Education and Scienceto to provide funding and consents for the above mentioned employees without whom the school cannot start operating on September the 1st, 2010”, said Halimi.


According to him, this press conference should serve for fast solution of this problem because pupils (that until now have traveled for 2km to their school) and their parents are informed that this school will not work on September the 1st 2010, we will boycott the classes and will organize protests on the roads and in front of the Ministry of Education and Science.

“For all the other problems that can arise after September the first 2010, due to no interest of Government and Ministry of Education and Science to solve this problem we have informed on time the international factor including here the OSBE”, said Halimi.
