Threefold increase of the fire during August
According to the report of August 2010, the Territorial Unit Against Fire that operates under the framework of municipality of Tetovo has intervened in 127 total fire suppression.
The head of this unit, Kamber Sadiku, said that compared with last month we have threefold increase of fire and all this is as a result of a raised temperature.
“During this period, TUAF has intervened in fire suppression in open spaces, where we need to mention the fire on the forest near the village of Miletino where TUAF has helped the Department of Rescue and Safety, furthermore the fire in the forest near the village of Gajre, where with effective intervention of TUAF the fire was controlled ”, said Sadiku.The head of this unit, Kamber Sadiku, said that compared with last month we have threefold increase of fire and all this is as a result of a raised temperature.
According to him, we need to mention that during this month TUAF has intervened in fire suppression in all rural municipalities, as in the municipality of Vratnice, municipality of Tearce, municipality of Bogovine and municipality of Bervenica.
TUAF has a fruitful and intensive cooperation with MPE- Tetova. Within this cooperation was made regular supply of drinking water in the neighborhoods where the need was presented, continuously were planted trees in the city and green spaced as well as it was assisted in washing the streets.
