The school ‘Istikbal’ is a central school, within which are two other peripheral schools, one in the village Gajre and the other in village Lisec. The history of ‘Istikbal’ dates from 1951. At its beginning, the teaching process was only in Turkish, later on the teaching started in Albanian and Macedonian.

At this school, the teaching process is maintained in three languages: Albanian and Turkish from the 1^st to the 8^th grade and Macedonian from the 1^st to the 5^th grade.

The current situation of the school’s infrastructure does not still have the conditions for the realization of the teaching process due to the lack of classrooms.

The school works in three shifts. At the central school there are in overall 56 classes in 28 classrooms, out of which 4 classes are in the basement in lack of light and air, in the presence of moisture and the depth of the basement in the soil.

The school buildings in Gajre and Lisec have the minimum conditions for the realization of the teaching process. Each school has 9 classes from the 1^st to the 8^th grade, and the teaching language is Albanian.

The school has 120 employees, out of which 102 teachers, 7 administrators (principal, pedagogue, secretary, cashier, sociologist and 2 deputy principals) and 7 site staff.
