The school activity began in 1956 and in the actual building in 1961. At its beginning there were 650 students in 29 classes. Today, there are 360 students in 23 classes, 2 classes for children with special needs, and one for day stay.

The teaching process is realized in one building with two additional rooms. The teaching is realized in two shifts.

The school has 45 employees, out of which 33 teachers, 3 administrators (principal, pedagogue, and secretary), 2 defectologists, and 7 site staff.
