The stone bridge



In the absence of written documents, it is not known the exact time of the construction of this bridge. Based in its construction technique and its form, it is thought to be built towards the end of the 15th century and the beginning of the 16th century.

The technique of this bridge is quite flawless. The vaults are made from stones, and the linkage in between the stones is made from melted lead. The parapet is 60cm high and 20cm wide. The bridge has a wide arch.

Built by the local craftsmen, with local material which is finely carved, this bridge is still functional and links the two sides of the town.
